Meet Maureen MacScweeney, Founding Attorney
Before becoming an attorney, Maureen spent 25 years in healthcare as an Advanced Practice Nurse Midwife. She earned her Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing from Case Western Reserve University and her Juris Doctor from Barry University.
Those years of patient care shaped how she practices law. She has sat with families through births, deaths, illnesses, and hard decisions, and she understands that legal planning is really about people: their health, their relationships, and their wishes. That experience gives her a calm, practical way of explaining the medical and long-term care questions that can overwhelm clients, and it informs an education-first approach in which you understand every choice before you make it.
